Global companies face unique challenges throughout their exhibit schedule. Juggling booth properties across the U.S. is challenging enough – but when your tradeshow program has you crisscrossing the globe, those challenges can be coupled with some serious costs.
Berliner Glas, based in Germany, attends several shows in the U.S. In the past, to cover these shows, exhibit properties would be pulled from their European tour and shipped stateside, to meet demand. This year, looking to reduce transportation costs for future U.S. shows, while maintaining a consistent brand image, Berliner Glas turned to DisplayWorks for help.
Working with a quick turnaround, our Irvine facility was able to design and build a unique 10×20 exhibit that fit the brand and style of the Berliner Glas exhibit properties used in Europe. The sleek, clean exhibit design featured a beautiful backlit white wall and matching reception counter, along with a small seating area. Glass towers showcased key Berliner Glas products and specialty materials along the aisle.
The new exhibit made its debut at SEMICON West, held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center in July 2012. The Berliner Glas team received great compliments on the booth at the show and, more importantly — gained quality leads. The added reward comes in the cost savings the exhibit will provide in serving Berliner Glas’ North American shows.
When asked to comment about his first experience working with the DisplayWorks exhibit team, Kevin Liddane, Director of Sales for North America for Berliner Glas, said “Excellent. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Designing a booth that captured our European brand image and having it installed at a major trade show in 8 weeks was incredibly impressive. A lot of exhibitors specifically stopped to compliment the look of the booth and several asked if they could take pictures. The Display works staff was flexible, creative and driven to get the job done for us”
We look forward to many more with Berliner Glas.
