Your New Tradeshow Exhibit – In a Nutshell – It’s Who You Are.

When you invest in that small piece of real estate on the show floor, it’s your opportunity to best summarize who you are, what you do and what you mean to your customers. Your booth, is your company, in a nutshell. What’s your approach to take advantage of it?

In this case, a new 20′ x 20′ booth, put a fresh new spin on the story of John B. Sanfilippo & Sons, an Elgin, Illinois based company that distinguishes themselves as one of the world’s largest processors, manufacturers, and distributors of nuts.

We first met with the company in January of 2012.  By the time the FMI 2012 Expo rolled around in early May, DisplayWorks had successfully equipped Sanfilippo with a new brand image, a stunning new booth design, and a bolder brand presence to help tell their story at tradeshows.

Cincinnati based Account Executive, Maria Sowers, shared that her client had expressed interest in replacing their “boring, old-fashioned” exhibit — one that failed to match their product image — in lieu of a more natural, organic, and wholesome feeling booth display.  They wanted something that not only expressed their rich heritage, but also provided a warm environment where attendees would want spend time to learn about the various brand offerings and sample John B. Sanfilippo’s wide assortment of products.

According to Roseanne Christman, Director of Creative Services & Customer Solutions for John B. Sanfilippo, “Our new tradeshow booth delivers on all aspects of the creative brief; Heritage, Warm, Welcoming, Appetite Appeal, and most of all, that we are the EXPERTS on NUTS!!”

In order to meet the lightweight and modular aspect of the booth functionality requirements, DisplayWorks utilized large-scale fabric graphics to provide bold imagery of green fields and product glamour shots. We fit rough-sawn cedar atop lightweight aluminum frames and incorporated a rollable wood-grain flex floor to give the booth warmth along with an organic feel, while reducing drayage and shipping costs.

Jeff Wolcott, Senior Marketing Manager of Private Brands agreed that “The natural beauty and purity of nature’s nut bounty is clearly displayed by JBSS’s new trade show booth”. Traffic for their first show increased significantly. We’re very pleased for our client and are looking forward to many more great shows.
