Alpine had plans to go big at CES 2014 — literally. The company was introducing the first in dash 9″ Audio Video Navigation unit. In addition to new product rollouts Alpine was unveiling a new initiative built around vehicle restyling and closely aligning their products to fit to their customers vehicle and their unique lifestyles – in particular, truck and SUV lifestyles.
Our design & marketing team worked closely with Alpine to bring an integrated approach to their exhibit program. Creative graphic vignettes were used to bring each customer persona to life along with displays built around actual demo vehicles in the exhibit space. Our digital media team developed an interactive display with a large monitor that let attendees explore cool new Alpine features as they fit to their lifestyles ranging from the family fun SUV, to the busy contractor, to the weekend warrior.
Aside from addressing their marketing objectives, our designers worked with our engineering team to solve some setup challenges the client had faced in the past. Their special attention to the inner workings of the exhibit panels helped save Alpine a great deal of time and money on their setup. Beauty truly was more than skin deep.
The exhibit was a big step forward for Alpine and one of their most ambitious displays ever at CES. It was a great collaborative effort by DisplayWorks’ integrated creative team and a very focused and dedicated marketing and event team from Alpine.
