As the top sponsor of the 2014 Bowl Championship Series (BCS), VIZIO wanted to create an environment that was both stylish and fun, where they could entertain their key buyers, distributors and the press as they viewed the final championship game. One small catch — many of VIZIO’s key customers and partners were in Las Vegas for CES and the football game was in Los Angeles. DisplayWorks was already working to produce VIZIO’s custom exhibit for CES, when our integrated events team, Brand B, stepped in to help create the ultimate BCS viewing party for VIZIO guests in Vegas.
The event was held at the world famous Pure Nightclub inside Caesar’s Palace on the Las Vegas strip. The event space was elegantly decorated while maintaining a college football theme combined with VIZIO branding. All screens in the venue were replaced and the room was filled with VIZIO’s new line of televisions, so guests could experience the quality and performance of VIZIO’s technology while enjoying the game.
The event was an unprecedented success that drew in 250 targeted attendees. Hostesses greeted guests wearing VIZIO BCS cheerleader uniforms. Fans were able to join in and pose in a branded photo opportunity to experience the star treatment. There were celebrity appearances at the party including: Will Davis of the Miami Dolphins, Tony Jefferson of the Arizona Cardinals and ESPN Commentator, Danny Kanell.
DisplayWorks’ strategic approach to planning and strong collaboration with the client created a cohesive atmosphere that matched their exhibit space while it allowed for a memorable viewing experience that was a true embodiment of the VIZIO brand and a real life showcase of their products.
